Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: YES! I currently accept Cigna, Carelon Behavioral Health, Magellan, Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, and Quest Behavioral Health. If you don't have insurance, please feel free to reach out. I do offer a sliding scale for those in need
Q: Do you have availability after 5pm and on weekends?
A: Yes, I am available on certain days of the week after 5pm and on weekends

I am Amber Mitchell, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) based in West LA. With over 18 years of experience in the medical field, I practice general adult psychiatry and specialize in treating conditions such as major depressive disorder (MDD), anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, and PTSD. My expertise also extends to holistic psychiatry for women, focusing on perinatal and reproductive psychiatry, including postpartum depression and preconception counseling.
